Trap Door 04:04
Take a globe, spin it around in your hand Thirty five countries that you have been to Another nameless town can't come too soon for you You spin it around, spin it around Turn your back on the places you come from You naturally you take all the money and run Now you sit back in that fat ole' easy chair And spin it around, spin it around Pedigree's a word that applies to your living Your Mama's name decides where you go walking But naturally you've only been through the gardens Where you spin around around, spin all around You're talking all about the peace of the country I'm the furthest thing from being interested I'm going back to paved road and lights of the city That's where I'll be found, where I'll be found I don't want your trap door, trap door I don't want your trap door, trap door I don't want your trap door, trap door I don't want your trap door, no more All my friends, come running 'say where you been Well honey I've been downtown Waiting on and on So take a globe and spin it around in your hand The mean poor world dreams American Grin and take everything that you can And spend all you have, spend all you have Spend all you have, spend all you have Spend all you have, spend all you have I don't want your trap door, trap door I don't want your trap door, trap door I don't want your trap door, trap door I don't want your trap door, no more All my friends, come running 'say where you been Well honey I've been downtown Waiting on and on

about

The sophomore album from San Francisco pop/rock favorites HARBOURS. Led by songwriter MIGUEL ZELAYA, Harbours move easily through elements of classic pop, Americana, R&B and indie rock flavors. “Their love of the Zombies and the Kinks are well in tact....and certainly reflect the finest moments of '60s and '70s radio, but in no way could they ever be confined to mere homage territory"—San Francisco Bay Guardian. Going into the second album the Harbours were a well oiled live act having played countless shows over the course of a year. The core of the album was recorded over two major sessions as "live in the studio" as possible to try to capture the naturally layered sound of this particular Harbours line up. Notable tracks such as Situation, Old Formula, and No Souvenirs were recorded in one take. Limited edition vinyl-only pressing of 500 copies, includes a free download.
